Complaintat this time I do not have a Dr. Since DR cool left Med Star i have had no riutine check ups or blood work as in the past. At 88 I feel I want a Dr who knows my histiry
Ihave been a Med Star patient for 30 years. The offices at Honeygo Blvd in Maryland.
My reg dr retired, Dr Jeff Cool in Jan 24. Since ten I have seen 3 diff drs,now have left the practice. I was told that a new dr was coming and scheduled appt for Feb 11 was given to me. That appt was cancelled until Feb28.
I received call Feb 27 to cancel. Call ed for new appt was told June25 was earliest. I want to know whats going on at this office.
Im 88 and do hot want to change from med star all my drs are I MedStar. Pleas help me

Doctor didn't show up,at MedStar Ortho Spine Center, Chevy Chase MD.
Appalling experience. I showed up on time at for an appt made more than 2 weeks ago for consultation on my knee after a fall.
THE DOCTOR WAS NOT THERE AND WAS NOT COMING IN. NO ONE CALLED TO ALERT ME. I had waited TWO WEEKS & now I have to find another doctor and try to reschedule, when appts are impossible to get this time of year. So I have to live with the pain for who knows how much longer.
The office tried to blame the doctor not being there on ZocDoc. Pathetic! The front desk said there was nothing they could do except make a new appt. I demanded to speak to the manager, Mary, who was apologetic.
As an aside one of the staff at the reception desk was COUGHING WITHOUT WEARING A MASK OR COVERING HER MOUTH.
What kind of an outfit is this?
I have many ortho problems and had heard good things about MedStar and was thinking of transferring from GW University.
NO WAY. I am totally done with this place and MedStar.

This doctor degraded me, laughed at me, and literally allowed me to lay in my own *** and vomit on the floor. I presented with severe diabetic keto acidosis and she winked at me and said "Get well soon hahaha" as I cried out for help to anyone who would help me.

Dr Sarah Rimm
Dr Sarah Rimm the attending at Medstar Health taunted me while I laid on the floor covered in urine and vomit. I displayed with every symptom of DKA and instead of treating me With integrity and respect she teased me in front of her staff.
She winked at me and said "get well soon" as I cried out for help from anyone who would. I felt violated.
Afraid. I'm disgusted with this organization.

About a bill I already paid
That they send me the same bill already paid in July 5,2023. I'm not going to pay it again, I'm very responsible with my bills always pay my bill on time.

Feeling ripped off
They charged me $250+ to send me an email about my lab results. Not an office visit.
We did talk briefly on the phone when I told the office that I did not want to discuss the findings with the doctor because I had no faith in her. (She had failed numerous times already to even reply to my emails asking what the results meant.) I didnt hear back from the office to schedule a phone consult until after I had written them a bad review!
They also charged me $47 for a supposed 15 minute alcohol abuse screening when all they did was ask me how much wine I drink and note it down.
I drink maybe a few glasses of wine a week, if that!
All in all, Medstar proved to be a very poor (and expensive) experience for me. I had to show my test results to a doctor in London (Im traveling the world) to talk about what my lab results meant and feel reassured.
Horrible site
Every single time I need to log on I have to call for an invite. Was your patient portal designed by a sadist?
Unforgivable wait times to access your own information. You suck!

Need talked to Director for the st.marys hospital
Disrespect staff making you sick more then you are! When you arrive. St.Marys hospital is a show boat nurses have no patient for the sick PATIENT!and the CEO OF MEDSTAR HOSPITAL NEED TO KNOW THIS THEY LET ELDERS SIT IN WHEELCHAIRS FOR 7 TO 8 HRS WITHOUT ASSISTANCING TO HELP I SIT AND WITNESS THIS TERRIBLE SITUATION!

I called and was on hold for 45 min and no one got back to me. I was at work and could not get anyone to talk to .
And at the end I was done waiting and hanged up .

Mistreatment
So I deal with mental health and really needed some fresh air. I was treated so badly by the staff.
I have been here sitting after 6 hours with pain in my back and my left foot numb. I was told that I had to wait to be seen after everyone who came before me.
And what if I become Paradise or something behind the way these people in the emergency room treated me. This is the worst Medstar
